Q. Lunar New Year Lucky Dip Terms & Conditions - 25th to 26th January 2025

1. This Promotion is organised by UNIQLO Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 36 161 922 103) of Level 19, Wesley Place, 150 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 (“Promoter”) at the following UNIQLO stores: Chadstone, Emporium, Macquarie Centre, Chatswood, The Glen, Hurstville, Mid City, Carousel, Paramatta and Mt Gravatt (“Participating Stores”)
2. By participating in this promotion, you confirm that you have read and understood, and agreed to abide by, the following conditions of entry, including how to enter, prize details and our Privacy Policy (“Terms and Conditions”). The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any Eligible Entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
 
3. Entry to the Promotion is only open to those aged 18 years or older (13, with parent/guardian consent) (“Eligible Entrants”).
 
4. The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer from the Promoter.

5. The Promotion is valid during store opening hours on Saturday 25 January 2025 and Sunday 26 January 2025 and may conclude earlier if all prizes have been redeemed (“Promotion Period”).

6. No entries will be accepted outside the Promotion Period. 

7. To enter, Eligible Entrants must:
a.    Spend $128 or more in one transaction at one of the Participating Stores during the Promotion Period; and
b.    Visit the Lunar New Year activation and select one envelope from the lucky dip.
 
8. Only one entry per Eligible Entrant per day, during the Promotional Period. 
 
9. The Total Maximum Prize pool per store will not exceed $6,440. All monetary figures in these Terms and Conditions are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST and based on the recommended retail value at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes.

10. To redeem their prize, Eligible Entrants will need to:
a.    Present the prize voucher contained in their envelope to a team member;
b.    Where applicable, as indicated by the prize voucher, select the corresponding UNIQLO product instant win prize from the indicated participating store. Prize vouchers not redeemed prior to 5pm on 2 March 2025 will be deemed invalid and will be forfeited. 
c.    Prize vouchers are valid for one time redemption only. No change given. Certain sizes, styles and colours available while stocks last. Prize items cannot be varied or exchanged (unless faulty) and cannot be redeemed or refunded as cash, credit or equivalent. 
d.    Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 

11. It is a condition of accepting any prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize, terms and conditions of redemption and the prize supplier’s requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. 

12. Directors, officers, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management and employees) of the Promoter, or of any agencies their immediate families, and any agencies, retailers and suppliers directly associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter the Promotion.

13. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final. Eligible Entrants agree to abide by all reasonable directions, decisions and rules issued by the Promoter (or our employees, contractors, partners or agents) in relation to the Promotion and must ensure they do not behave in an offensive or aggressive manner whilst attending the activation.
14. During the Lunar New Year activation (and shortly before or after), photos, videos and/or audio and visual recordings (“Photography”) may be taken and attendees consent to the Promoter using the Photography, their likeness, image and/or voice in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the activation and promoting any products of the Promoter.

15. Eligible Entrants acknowledge and understand that the activation may involve health risks including risk of injury, illness or infection (including COVID-19). You agree to participate in the activation solely at your own risk and acknowledge that you are responsible for your own personal property.

 
16. Entrants' personal information may be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable it to administer the Promotion. The personal information of the winner may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the competition, including prize suppliers and deliverers. Entrants can request access to or correction of their details by contacting the Promoter at customerservice@uniqlo.com.au. All personal information will be securely stored by the Promoter and handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy available at: UNIQLO Australia Privacy Policy.
 
17. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry are of a type described in this clause.  

18. All prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable, upgradable, divisible, and exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes or if the winning Eligible Entrant’s preferred style, size or colour is unavailable.

19. Promoter shall not be liable for any costs, loss or damage whatsoever which is incurred or suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of your participation in the Promotion, including claiming the prize, in connection with your use or misuse of any prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).  

20. Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, all costs and expenses associated with the prizes for the Promotion are the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant.

21. If for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned, Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to take any action that may be available and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if required.  If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. 

22. The Terms and Conditions are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the state of Victoria. 

23. Facebook, TikTok or Instagram may be used to advertise or promote the Promotion. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, TikTok or Instagram and to release Facebook, TikTok or Instagram from all liability in relation to this Promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Promoters and not Facebook, TikTok or Instagram.
