Update to our returns policy

Changes to our UNIQLO change of mind policy have been made from December 1, 2020. Please click here to view the full updates.

Notice to our New South Wales Customers - June 25th 2021
Due to our New South Wales stores being closed, we will be extending the return period. Any store purchases made from June 1st to June 25th will have 30 days to return their order once stores re-open. If you have any issues making a return within the timeframe, please reach out to our friendly Customer Care team for assistance. Should the lockdown period be extended, this timeframe will also be extended.

If you purchased online from June 25th and want to exchange your items in our NSW stores, we will be extending the exchange policy.  Customers will have an extra  have 30 days to exchange their item once stores re-open. 

Notice to our Victorian Customers - July 16th 2021
Due to our Victorian stores being closed, we will be extending the return period. Any In Store purchases made from  June 16th will have an extra 12 days to return your purchases. Should the lockdown period be extended, this timeframe will also be extended.
 



Online & Retail Change of Mind Policy

If you change your mind about your purchase of products (except socks, underwear, swimwear, altered apparel and face masks) purchased in UNIQLO stores/online in Australia, we will refund or exchange those products within 30 days, provided they have not been worn or washed and are accompanied by the original receipt/tax invoice, packaging and tags. For health and safety reasons we can not accept the returns of face masks that have been opened.

Please see below the return methods for the different types of orders/purchases, which are effective from December 1, 2020.

As the returns and refund process varies from Order/Purchase type, please ensure you have read the return process relating to your order type below.

1. In Store Purchase - Return Information

Item/s purchased in a UNIQLO Australia store can only be returned and refunded at the original store of purchase. 

If you need to exchange your item, this can be done at any of our 26 stores across NSW, VIC, QLD & WA. Click here to find your Closest Store. In store purchases can not be returned via postal mail.

2. Online Order - Return Information

Online orders - Exchanges
If you require an exchange, this can be completed at any of our UNIQLO stores. Please ensure to have your tax invoice with you and the same card used for purchase. Please note, if you require a full refund for your online order, the item must be posted back to our online warehouse.  

Please note, we do not offer exchanges through our online returns process, items sent back to our online warehouse will be processed for a refund. If you require a new size or colour, you can simply place a new order online.

Online payment orders – Refund
Refunds: Online payment purchases that require a refund must be sent back to our online warehouse following the online returns process. Online orders cannot be refunded at our UNIQLO stores. 

Please follow the steps below to post back your online order for a refund. 


Postal Returns - Australia Post - Refund Only
Returning item/s from your online order can be completed in 4 easy steps!: 

1. Visit: https://return.auspost.com.au/uniqlo

2. Fill in the required fields and your return information.

3. Print your label at home or at a nearby Australia Post Office.

4. Drop your return parcel at any Australia Post Office or red Post Office Box.

The returns process can take up to 14 business days from the date your return was lodged. Please note a AU$8.00 return handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount when you use this service. Unfortunately we're unable to process exchanges for an online order via our postal return service, please view our exchange process here.

Can I return multiple orders in one parcel? 
Yes. If you send back multiple orders in one parcel you will only be charged one $8 return fee. Please ensure all individual return forms are included so we can identify your orders. 


3. Click and Collect - Return Information
Click and Collect orders can be returned for a refund by using the Online postal return method, or you can return your order back to the original store it was collected from. Please note, refunds for Click and Collect orders can only be refunded at the original store of purchase. Exchanges for Click and Collect orders can be completed at any of our UNIQLO Australia stores.  Please take your Tax Invoice/Return Form with you when you return to store. 

4. Pay At Store - Return Information
Pay At Store orders can only be returned and refunded at the original store that payment was completed at. Please note, as payment was completed in store, we are unable to accept Pay At Store orders back via postal return. Pay At Store orders can also be exchanged at any UNIQLO Australia Store. 
Please take your Tax Invoice/Return Form with you when you return to store.
