Q. UNIQLO Gift Card Terms & Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to physical gift cards and e-gift cards (together “Gift Cards”) issued by UNIQLO Australia Pty Ltd ABN 36 161 922 103 (“UNIQLO”) or via our business partner Stored Value Solutions UK Limited (“SVS”).
  2. By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you confirm that you have read and understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions and UNIQLO’s Privacy Policy (“Terms and Conditions”). UNIQLO reserves the right to modify, interpret or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. The current version of these Terms and Conditions will always be available on www.uniqlo.com.au.
  3. You can purchase a Gift Card in-store at any UNIQLO Australia store or online on the UNIQLO Australia website or via the UNIQLO App.
  4. Purchase of a Gift Card is complete:
  • (a) in-store when payment is processed; or
    (b) online, when you receive a confirmation email to your nominated email address.
     
  1. Gift Cards cannot be purchased using Afterpay or PayPal Pay in 4.
  2. Each Gift Card can be issued for a minimum of $20, in increments of $10 and for a maximum value of $500. Gift Cards can be used to purchase products at any UNIQLO retail store in Australia and the UNIQLO online store. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
  3. Gift Cards are valid for 36 months from the date of issue. Any remaining balance will be forfeited. It is your responsibility to use any balance on the Gift Card before expiry.
  4. To use your Gift Card in store, simply present it at the cashier to scan the barcode and enter the PIN number (found under the scratch panel on the back of the physical gift card or in the delivery email of the e-gift card).
  5. To use your Gift Card online, select ‘UNIQLO Gift Card’ within the ‘PAYMENT OPTION’ section of the checkout and input the 19-digit card number as well as the PIN number of your Gift Card.
  6. Gift Cards can be used in conjunction with other payment methods. More than one Gift Card per transaction can be used.
  7. Gift Cards can be used, prior to expiry date, until the balance of the card is zero. Once the balance of a Gift Card is zero, it cannot be reused.
  8. Return of products purchased with a Gift Card will be governed by our Returns Policy. Where applicable, the refund for the products purchased with a Gift Card will be issued on a new Gift Card. For online purchases, where applicable, an e-Gift card will be emailed to you. If a purchase was made using a combination of payment methods (one of which is Gift Card), any refund due shall first be processed on the original payment method other than the Gift Card. Should the value of the refund due exceed the amount paid with methods other than the Gift Card, such remaining amount shall be refunded on to a new Gift Card.
  9. All Gift Cards are the property of UNIQLO. Upon use and if the remaining value on the Gift Card is zero, the UNIQLO team member may destroy the Gift Card. Likewise, UNIQLO reserves the right to void or cancel any Gift Card that appears to have been altered or tampered with in any way. UNIQLO in its sole discretion, may elect to provide a replacement Gift Card with the unused balance of the cancelled Gift Card unless it was cancelled due to fraud or illegal activity.
  10. Treat the Gift Card like cash. UNIQLO accepts no responsibility for any lost, stolen, damaged or expired Gift Cards. UNIQLO’s liability is limited to replacing faulty Gift Cards, to the extent that such Gift Card was inherently faulty at the time it was issued, or the fault was due to any act or omission of UNIQLO or SVS.
  11. Gift Cards are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards. Gift Cards (or any portion thereof) cannot be reloaded, refunded, used to obtain any cash advance, redeemed for cash or exchanged for a discount.
  12. All monetary figures in these Terms and Conditions are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST.
  13. Any personal information collected from you in relation to the Gift Card will be securely stored by UNIQLO and handled in accordance with UNIQLO’s privacy policy available at: Privacy Policy. To request access to or correction of your details, please contact customerservice@uniqlo.com.au.
  14. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severed and where capable the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
  15. The Terms and Conditions are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.
